Australian passport holders to visit Hong Kong as a tourist or for short-term business and stay for less than three months are exempted from visa. The validity of passport shall be more than one month longer than the holder's duration of stay in Hongkong. Employment You need a visa to work in Hong Kong: (1) One completed Hong Kong Visa Application Form with a passport photograph attached; (2) Name, address and telephone number of the employer; (3) Contract with stated position, salary and welfare; (4) Certificate of your schooling and working experience; (5) Health certificate. 4.To study You need a visa to study in Hong Kong (1) One completed Hong Kong Visa Application Form with a passport photograph attached; (2) Legally registered school you are to study in and its address, telephone number; (3) Acceptance letter from the school; (4) Financial support certificate; (5) If you are under 18 years of age, a consent letter of your parents or legal guardian. You shall be 18-30 years of age. (1) One completed Hong Kong Visa Application Form with a passport photograph attached; (2) Your passport; (3) Financial support certificate. You may ask the visa officer for the appropriate forms, or download from HK Immigration Department.
